That’s so cute how she called it “the sex”! It’s a good idea to answer those questions despite the awkwardness. My oldest daughter and a friend saw a couple making out in a car near our house when we lived in England. At eight years old she authoritatively informed me that they were having sex. So I asked her if she know what sex was. She said, “Yes. It’s when people suck on each other’s private parts.” Well… I guess that was a start.. of sorts. I gave her a more well-rounded explanation that satisfied her curiosity. I wonder if she told her friend.
